ASSISTANT MANAGER - SALES
Location: Coimbatore or Tirupur – Tamil Nadu, India
Function: Assistant Manager -Front end Sales

Level / Seniority: minimum 4-6 years

Education: Bachelor’s/master’s degree – EE/EC
Languages: Fluent English knowledge with conversant in local language added advantage
Experience: Minimum 4-6 years in direct sales
JOB SUMMARY AND SCOPE
Assistant Manager - Sales – is responsible Sales activities representing the company in Region Tamil Nadu – directly interacting with Customers (B2B and B2C) , generating enquiries , following up leads , understanding the requirements , coordinating with back-end/Factory for Offers , submitting offers , negotiating and closing orders , coordinating with Project management and collection- meeting yearly budget.
ACTIVITIES
- Agree and meet sales Budget for respective region.
- Represent the Organization with customers in region.
- Meeting Customers (F2F) , maintaining customer relationship and Generating Enquiries
- Coordinate with backend/Factory for technical compliance, Offering solutions and product approval.
- Coordinating with backend/Factory for Commercial compliance , Offer submission and Order pursuit.
- Follow up of enquiry, maintain customer relationship
- Finalization of the Enquiry
- Coordinating with the Customer and factory for Order booking PO approval and other commercial and Project related activities
- Coordinating with Project management in Project approvals, Inspection, Dispatch clearance and collection.
- Communication interface between Market and Factory, generating market intelligence.
- Supporting back end with market intelligence for Product reference.
- Travel to meet Customers. (The position requires to travel 60-80% of the time as per business requirement)
TECHNICAL SKILLS
MUST HAVE
- Excellent Customer relationship, communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge on commercial and legal terms.
- Basic Power system knowledge on Solar inverters/Solar PV systems/BESS/Microgrid solutions.
NICE TO HAVE
- Deep Knowledge on Solar inverter/Battery storage and Microgrid application.
- Strong knowledge on selection of transformers/MV Switchgears
- Knowhow of PV panels /PV panel technologies
- Knowhow of Battery /Battery technologies
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS

- Good communication and presentation skills
- Effective use of Microsoft tools
- Multitasking capability and self-adjustment ability to after non-successful tests
