About the role
This is an IC - Individual Contributor Role
We are looking for a sharp, motivated Inside Sales & Business Development expert who has EXCELLENT COMMUNCATION SKILLS based in Chennai to join our client global sales team. You will work from office and remotely and serve as a critical link between client USA team brand portfolio and our international customer base
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Generation: Research and identify prospective customers using company-provided tools and independent market research across assigned territories.
• Revenue Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by actively selling company inventory across assigned brands.
• Business Development: Drive brand growth in assigned territories through strategic outreach, new customer acquisition, and market penetration.
• Cold Calling & Outreach: Conduct proactive tele-calling and cold outreach campaigns to expand the active customer base.
• Key Account Management: Nurture and grow relationships with strategic accounts to maximize lifetime value and repeat business.
• Dormant Account Reactivation: Identify and re-engage lapsed or inactive customers with targeted outreach and tailored offers.
• New Territory Identification: Spot emerging opportunities and recommend new regions or market segments for the brands we carry.
• Market Intelligence: Collect and share actionable feedback on product performance, pricing, and competitive landscape with internal teams.
• Marketing & Broadcasts: Execute digital broadcast campaigns and other marketing activities to generate awareness and demand.
• CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions, leads, opportunities, and pipelines in the CRM system.
What We're Looking For
Essential
• 2–5 years of experience in inside sales, tele-sales, or business development — preferably in consumer electronics, FMCG, or technology distribution.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills — you will work with international clients daily.
• Hands-on experience with CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
• Strong cold-calling skills and comfort with high-volume outbound outreach.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fully remote environment.
• Self-driven, result-oriented mindset with a passion for sales.
Must have exposure
• Prior exposure to international markets — particularly the Americas, Europe, or Middle East.
• Experience working with consumer electronics brands.
• Familiarity with B2B wholesale or distribution business models.
• Comfort working across time zones to align with US or LATAM business hours.
