Position Details
Designation : Assistant Restaurant Manager
Location : The Spirited Spot, Baner, Pune
Reporting To : Restaurant Manager / Operations Head
Employment Type : Full Time
Role Objective
To support and manage daily restaurant and bar operations while ensuring exceptional guest experience, team efficiency, revenue optimization, and adherence to The Spirited Spot’s hospitality and operational standards.
The Assistant Restaurant Manager will act as a bridge between operations, service teams, bar teams, kitchen teams, and guests to ensure seamless execution during all operating hours.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)
1. Guest Experience & Hospitality Management
Responsibilities
- Ensure every guest receives a premium and personalized experience
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout service
- Handle guest complaints, escalations, and special requests professionally
- Build relationships with repeat guests and VIP customers
- Ensure hospitality standards align with TSS culture and brand identity
- Maintain high energy and positive floor presence during service hours
Key Metrics
- Guest satisfaction scores
- Repeat guest ratio
- Online review ratings
- Resolution time for guest complaints
- Guest feedback quality
2. Floor Operations Management
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant and cocktail bar operations
- Ensure smooth coordination between service, kitchen, and bar teams
- Monitor table turnover and seating efficiency
- Ensure proper shift opening and closing procedures
- Maintain service speed and operational discipline during peak hours
- Ensure SOP adherence across all departments

- Shift readiness compliance
- Daily operational audit scores
3. Team Leadership & Staff Management
Responsibilities
- Supervise captains, stewards, hosts, and support staff
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and performance monitoring
- Train team members on hospitality standards and guest engagement
- Maintain team discipline, grooming, and professionalism
- Support recruitment and onboarding activities
- Build positive team culture and motivation

4. Revenue & Sales Optimization
Responsibilities
- Support achievement of daily and monthly revenue targets
- Upsell cocktails, signature dishes, experiences, and events
- Monitor average billing and guest spending trends
- Coordinate with marketing and events teams during promotions
- Drive guest engagement initiatives and repeat business

- Daily sales achievement
- Average per cover revenue
- Upselling performance
- Event revenue contribution
- Repeat customer growth
5. Bar & Beverage Coordination
Responsibilities
- Coordinate closely with bartenders and bar operations team
- Ensure beverage service quality and consistency
- Monitor cocktail presentation and guest satisfaction
- Ensure bar service timelines are maintained
- Support execution of special bar events and cocktail activations

6. Hygiene, Safety & Compliance
Responsibilities
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards across guest and operational areas
- Monitor staff grooming and hygiene practices
- Ensure compliance with food safety and operational regulations
- Maintain safety standards during peak operational hours
- Coordinate maintenance and issue resolution

- Hygiene audit scores
- Compliance adherence
- Incident reduction
- Maintenance resolution time
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in premium hospitality, nightlife, or restaurant operations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong understanding of cocktail bar culture and guest psychology
- Ability to manage high-pressure service environments
- Strong decision-making and conflict resolution abilities
- Passion for hospitality, music, nightlife, and guest engagement
- Energetic personality with excellent floor presence
- Experience in luxury dining, bars, lounges, or hospitality brands preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related field
- 3–6 years of relevant hospitality experience
- Experience in premium cocktail bars or high-energy restaurants preferred
