Role Description The Assistant Restaurant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. This role supports daily restaurant operations, including supervising team members, managing shifts, and ensuring smooth front-of-house and back-of-house coordination. Responsibilities include maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene, monitoring inventory and stock levels, and supporting cash handling and basic reporting. The Assistant Restaurant Manager is expected to drive customer satisfaction, respond to guest feedback, and ensure a consistent, brand-aligned experience. The role also involves assisting with training new team members, supporting hiring needs, and helping implement company policies, promotions, and performance targets.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing capabilities, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills.
- Effective Communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and management.
- Experience in Hiring, onboarding, and supporting training of restaurant or retail staff.
- Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including quality standards, safety, and hygiene practices.
- Prior experience in restaurant, QSR, or retail management or supervision is preferred.
- Ability to lead shifts, handle peak-hour pressures, and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Basic understanding of POS systems, inventory control, and daily sales reporting.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or a related field is an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
