Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Restaurant Manager role based in Pune City. The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in day-to-day operations, including supervising service, coordinating the floor and back-of-house, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene. The role involves monitoring guest satisfaction, resolving service issues, and ensuring that customer feedback is captured and acted upon. Responsibilities include assisting with staff scheduling, training new team members, and supporting hiring processes as needed. The Assistant Restaurant Manager also helps manage inventory, supports cost control, and ensures that brand standards, safety protocols, and company policies are consistently followed.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, with a focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.
- Experience supporting Hiring activities, including interviewing, onboarding, and training frontline restaurant staff.
- Excellent Communication skills for coordinating with team members, kitchen staff, management, and guests.
- Solid understanding of Food & Beverage operations, including menu knowledge, quality control, and basic restaurant hygiene standards.
- Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality supervision or leadership is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and solution-focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage.
