Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Registrar in managing the administrative functions of the university.
- Oversee the enrollment process, ensuring accurate record-keeping of student registrations.
- Coordinate with academic departments to facilitate the scheduling of classes and examinations.
- Prepare and maintain academic and administrative records, including transcripts and student files.
- Assist in developing policies and procedures related to student registration and records management.
- Respond to student inquiries regarding academic records, registration processes, and enrollment issues.
- Support audit and compliance processes by ensuring adherence to institutional policies.
- Participate in university committees as required and contribute to strategic planning efforts.
- Facilitate communication between students, faculty, and administrative staff.
- Assist with the implementation of technology solutions to streamline administrative processes.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of academic programs and regulations in higher education.
Desired Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an academic or administrative role within a university or educational institution.
- Experience with student information systems (SIS) and database management is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
