Job Title: Assistant Registrar (Academics)
Company: Ramaiah Institute of Science & Management
Experience:
- 10 years of experience as a Lecturer in an Institute or University with experience in academic administration;
- OR
- 10 years of relevant experience in academic administration, preferably in an equivalent role.
Qualification: Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade B in the UGC seven-point scale from a recognized University.

Job Role:
The Assistant Registrar (Academics) will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating all academic administration functions of the campus. The role includes overseeing admissions, verification of documents, examinations, curriculum processes, and student academic records, while ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies such as UGC and AICTE. The incumbent will work closely with Deans, faculty, and academic departments to ensure efficient academic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, organise, and coordinate academic administration activities of the Campus.
• Oversee admissions processes, academic registrations, and maintenance of student records.
• Manage examination processes including scheduling, conduct, evaluation coordination, and results processing.
• Ensure compliance with UGC, AICTE, and other regulatory bodies in all academic matters.
• Coordinate with Deans, faculty, and departments for curriculum implementation and academic delivery.
• Support academic planning, timetabling, and course allocation processes.
• Implement University academic policies, rules, and procedures.
• Facilitate accreditation, audits, and academic reporting requirements.
• Support student academic progression, graduation processes, and certification.
