Role Description The Assistant Recruiter role is a full-time, on-site position based in Vadodara. This role supports the recruitment team in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates for various roles within the company. Daily responsibilities include posting job advertisements, managing applications, conducting initial phone screenings, and coordinating interviews with hiring managers. The Assistant Recruiter maintains candidate records, updates recruitment trackers, and ensures clear communication with applicants throughout the hiring process. The role also involves collaborating with HR to support onboarding activities, assisting with recruitment reports, and contributing to continuous improvement of talent acquisition processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to build professional relationships.
- Candidates should possess basic HR and recruitment skills, such as candidate sourcing, resume screening, interview scheduling, and familiarity with applicant tracking tools.
- Candidates should possess organizational and administrative skills, including attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple open positions simultaneously.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in common office software and online platforms, including email, spreadsheets, word processing tools, and professional networking sites.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on proactive follow-up and maintaining a positive candidate experience.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; prior internship or experience in recruitment or HR coordination is an advantage.
- Understanding or interest in the outsourcing, factoring, or transportation industry is beneficial, along with the willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs.
