Job Title: Assistant Manager - Quality

Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 8 years in HVAC/Manufacturing industry
Role Purpose:
To ensure end-to-end product and process quality across manufacturing and site operations, while driving customer satisfaction through strong Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and service support including installation and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Control & Inspection
• Final inspection of AHU, Air Washer, FCU, Ventilation Units & spares
• Pre-dispatch inspection (hardware, BOI, short supply monitoring)
• Verification of production drawings with approved designs & parameters
• FAT execution and validation of test results
2. Quality Assurance & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to Quality SOPs across departments and sites
• Maintain ISO documentation and compliance standards
• Drive CAPA for internal/external quality issues
• Monitor and reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
• Conduct supplier audits and validation
3. Customer Complaint Management
• Handle and record customer complaints with timely RCA and closure
• Coordinate with internal teams for corrective actions
• Ensure customer satisfaction through feedback and follow-ups
4. Site Quality & Service Support
• Conduct site audits and inspect assembly & commissioning
• Support installation, commissioning, and service activities
• Coordinate with service teams and overseas associates till project completion
5. Training & Development
• Train workmen and junior staff on quality standards and product knowledge
• Drive skill development initiatives at plant and site
