Assistant Quality Assurance Manager

Role Description
The Assistant Quality Assurance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. This role is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality standards across the production process, ensuring that garments meet established specifications and brand guidelines.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting inspections, coordinating quality checks at various stages of manufacturing, documenting findings, and collaborating with production and design teams to resolve quality issues. The Assistant Quality Assurance Manager will assist in training staff on quality protocols, maintaining compliance with internal and external quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The role also involves preparing reports, analyzing quality metrics, supporting audits, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and working closely with production teams to ensure consistent product quality.
Strong knowledge of trouser construction, fitting, stitching, finishing, and quality standards for both formal and casual trousers is mandatory. The candidate must be willing to relocate to Hapur in the future based on business requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of quality control, garment inspection, and apparel production standards.
- Mandatory experience and in-depth knowledge of formal and casual trouser manufacturing, construction, pattern, fit, sewing operations, finishing, and quality parameters.
- Experience in identifying garment defects, root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Excellent understanding of quality documentation, SOPs, AQL standards, and inspection procedures.
- Strong communication, team management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to analyze quality data, prepare reports, and use quality management tools.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the apparel manufacturing industry, preferably in menswear.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety, compliance standards, and continuous improvement methodologies is an added advantage.
