Role Description The Assistant Manager will support day-to-day operations by coordinating production activities, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring adherence to quality and regulatory standards for pharmaceutical and ophthalmic products. This full-time, on-site role based in Daskroi involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing reports and documentation, and assisting with planning, scheduling, and process improvements to meet operational targets. The Assistant Manager will help oversee staff workflows, track performance metrics, and escalate issues to senior management as needed. Additional responsibilities include contributing to internal audits, supporting compliance with safety protocols, and assisting in vendor and customer communication to maintain smooth supply-chain activities.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills to manage daily operations and workflows.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and support decision-making using basic statistical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with production teams, quality personnel, and management.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing processes, preferably in ophthalmic or injectable products.
- Understanding of quality assurance, GMP, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, word processing) and basic ERP or inventory systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, life sciences, engineering, business, or a related field; relevant experience in manufacturing or operations is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a structured environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
