Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tirupur District for an Assistant Purchasing Manager. The Assistant Purchasing Manager will be responsible for supporting purchasing operations by sourcing and procuring raw materials, maintaining supplier relationships, and conducting market analysis to ensure cost efficiency and quality. Additional responsibilities include inventory monitoring, supply chain coordination, vendor negotiations, maintaining purchase records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procurement guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in procurement processes, supply chain management, and market analysis
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills
- Knowledge of inventory tracking, forecasting, and cost savings strategies
- Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools, and ERP systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and meet deadlines
- Educational background in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Experience in the food and spices industry is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
