Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Psychologist located in Palghat. The Assistant Psychologist will support licensed professionals in providing counseling and psychological services. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, facilitating mental health interventions, assisting in therapy sessions, and maintaining client records under the guidance of senior staff. The role requires regular interaction with clients and a strong commitment to ethical and empathetic care.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in Psychology and related disciplines
- Experience or training in Counseling and Mental Health support
- Skills in conducting Psychological Assessments and analyzing outcomes
- Educational background in Psychology or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Empathy, active listening, and effective communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team environment
- Familiarity with ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards
- Previous experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting is a plus
