Position Title: Assistant Project Manager –Surveillance
Experience Required: 5+ Years
Location : Noida
Travel Required: 75% across project locations and client sites
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and execution-driven Assistant Project Manager with strong expertise in Surveillance/ Safe City/Smart City/ ITMS projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing large government and state police surveillance projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery, and handling stakeholder management at senior government levels. The role demands high ownership, strong field execution capability, and willingness to travel extensively across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Delivery
- Lead execution of Smart City, Safe City, ITMS, and Surveillance projects.
- Manage deployment of CCTV surveillance systems, command & control centers, networking, video analytics, storage, and integrated security solutions.
- Ensure projects are delivered within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans proactively.
- Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, SI partners, and internal technical teams for seamless execution.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with State Police departments, Government Authorities, Smart City SPVs, and other public sector stakeholders.
- Conduct regular project review meetings with client representatives and senior officials.
- Ensure timely closure of client escalations and maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Handle coordination with consultants, PMCs, and local authorities for approvals and execution support.
Operational & Technical Oversight
- Review BOQs, technical specifications, project schedules, and implementation plans.
- Ensure adherence to SLA, compliance, safety standards, and project governance processes.
- Support testing, commissioning, integration, and handover activities.
- Drive preventive maintenance and operational stabilization post-deployment.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and MIS to management and clients.
- Maintain proper documentation related to project execution, change requests, risks, and approvals.
- Ensure billing milestones and project documentation are completed on time.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in Surveillance Systems, CCTV, VMS, Networking, Command & Control Centers, and Video Analytics.
- Good understanding of Smart City and ITMS ecosystem.
- Strong experience in handling Government/State Police projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Strong project planning and execution capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- High ownership mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable with travel and on-ground project management.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Any Graduates with 5+ yrs of experience.
- A candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical / IT / Computer Science or related field) is preferred.
- PMP/Prince2 certification will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to command centres, integrated security platforms, and public safety projects will be preferred.
