Role Description
The Assistant Project Engineer – Solar & Instrumentation is a full-time, on-site role based in Pimpri Chinchwad. The role involves assisting in planning, design, and execution of solar and instrumentation projects, including reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation. The Assistant Project Engineer will support project coordination with internal teams, contractors, and clients, track progress against schedules, and help ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include site visits, data collection, basic electrical and instrumentation checks, preparing reports and documentation, and supporting procurement and installation activities. The role also requires regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of project processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong project engineering and electrical engineering skills relevant to solar and instrumentation projects.
- Candidate shall have Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Instrumentation field. Experience of 1-2 years candidates shall be ideal for this role.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for collaborating with teams, contractors, and clients.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Basic knowledge of solar power systems, instrumentation, and relevant standards and safety practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with engineering drawings and documentation; CAD exposure is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site, conduct field inspections, and adapt to dynamic project environments.
- Prior internship or experience in infrastructure, energy, or utility projects is beneficial.
