Company Description
Artscape, established in 2016, is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering holistic well-being through Expressive Art Therapy. Using tools such as music, movement, meditation, visual arts, and drama, Artscape creates sessions for individuals across all demographics to promote personal and professional growth. The organization's key programs include support for cancer patients and caregivers, life skills education for youth, and mental well-being initiatives for corporate employees.
To date, Artscape has delivered over 6,000 sessions to more than 60,000 beneficiaries.
Registered as SRIJON Foundation, Artscape holds FCRA, 12A, 18G, and GUIDESTAR certifications.
Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra*
*Candidates should be comfortable with local travel within Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Thane - local travel will be reimbursed. Outstation travel (if any) will be arranged by Artscape.
Nature of Employment: Contractual, Full-Time
Duration of Employment: April 2026 to March 2027 (extendable based on performance and funding availability)
Roles and Responsibilities:
Artscape conducts expressive art therapy sessions in partnership with several NGO and institutional partners. The role of a program assistant has 2 aspects - on-ground logistical support and backend data management & reporting.
On-Ground Logistical Support:
- Coordinate with the facilitators beforehand to understand their material requirements for the session, and carry materials if necessary.
- Accompany the facilitator to each session and be present at least 20 minutes prior.
- Assist the facilitator during the session with tasks such as distributing session materials, taking photos & videos, and distributing feedback forms & surveys to participants.
Please note that sessions occur on weekends as well, for which a compensatory off can be taken the following week.
Backend Data Management & Reporting
- Assist the admin team in creating the monthly schedule.
- Ensure that session plans and reports are up to date.
- Maintaining media documentation of sessions on external hard drives & cloud storage.
- Providing content and information to the social media team for the creation of posts.
- Assist the program manager in creating program-related reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Psychology or Social Work preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi (fluency in Marathi will be an added advantage)
- Working knowledge of MS-Office and GSuite.
- In addition to being empathetic while working with vulnerable groups, the candidate should be organized, proactive, and punctual so that operations run smoothly.
Remuneration: 3 LPA + Local Travel
