Role Description
As a Faculty Member at NITK, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, developing innovative course curricula, and conducting advanced academic and applied research. You will mentor undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students, creating a conducive learning and research environment. Additional responsibilities include participating in departmental and institutional activities, acquiring research grants, and fostering collaborations with industry and academia. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mangalore, Karnataka.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching methodologies.
- Proven research experience with publications in peer-reviewed journals and capability in acquiring research funding.
- Skills in mentoring students, supervising research projects, and guiding dissertations.
- Strong knowledge in your field of expertise with the ability to integrate cross-disciplinary concepts effectively.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Ph.D. in a relevant field is required.
