Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor specializing in Tourism at CT Group of Institutions, located in Jalandhar. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for developing and delivering lectures, course materials, and assessments tailored to the Tourism curriculum. Responsibilities will also include mentoring students, conducting academic research, participating in curriculum development, and contributing to the overall academic and professional growth of the department.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in Tourism, Hospitality, and related fields, with the ability to deliver engaging lectures and develop educational material.
- Proficiency in academic research, curriculum design, and student mentorship.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Master’s or Ph.D. in Tourism or a related field; NET/SET certification is preferred.
- Experience in academic roles or industry experience in the Tourism and Hospitality sector is an advantage.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative learning environment.
- Proficient in using technology for educational purposes, including online teaching tools and software.
