Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Physics at Amity University, Ranchi. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering lectures, mentoring students, developing course materials, and conducting assessments in the field of Physics. They will also conduct academic research, collaborate with colleagues on scholarly projects, and contribute to departmental activities. The role includes fostering a positive educational environment and engaging in curriculum development to promote hands-on, industry-relevant learning for students.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge in core Physics and Theoretical Physics
- Understanding of Astronomy and the ability to integrate it into Physics courses
- Proficiency in Mathematics to support applied studies in Physics
- Experience in Physics Education and curriculum development
- Ph.D. in Physics or a related field is highly desirable
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching, research, and academic contribution
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in academic teams
