Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Psychology, located in Mohali district. The role involves delivering high-quality academic instruction in psychology at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, developing and updating course curricula, conducting research in relevant psychological disciplines, and mentoring students. The faculty member is also expected to participate in academic and administrative activities within the university and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects. Engaging with the academic community, publishing research, and contributing to the university’s reputation for excellence are key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Expert knowledge in Psychology with a strong understanding of theoretical concepts and practical applications.
- Experience in University Teaching and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality education.
- Proficiency in Curriculum Development, including creating and updating content to meet academic and industry standards.
- Skills in conducting Research, with a proven track record of publications in relevant academic journals.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills to effectively engage and guide students.
- Doctorate degree in Psychology or a closely related discipline is essential.
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and grant writing is an added advantage.
