Role Description
The position of Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering (Robotics & Automation) is a full-time, on-site role located in the Mohali district. The role involves developing and delivering high-quality academic courses, conducting research in the domains of Robotics and Automation, guiding students in their projects and thesis work, and participating in curriculum development. Additionally, the Assistant Professor will contribute to scholarly publications and collaborate with peers on innovative projects to advance the field.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Robotics and Automation, with the ability to teach and conduct advanced research in the field.
- Proficiency in subjects such as Heat Transfer and Solid Mechanics, with experience in integrating these topics into the curriculum.
- Proven skills in Curriculum Development in Mechanical Engineering, incorporating modern trends and technologies.
- Strong research background with a track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is mandatory.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and students.
- Experience with grant applications and funded research projects is preferred.
