Role Description The Assistant Professor of Law will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, tutorials, and seminars in core law subjects, including but not limited to Constitutional Law and Criminal Law. This full-time, on-site role is based at the CT Group of Institutions campus in Jalandhar. The faculty member will design and update course materials, prepare lesson plans, and use diverse pedagogical approaches to support student learning. Daily responsibilities include evaluating student performance through assignments, examinations, and classroom participation, while providing regular academic guidance and mentoring. The role also involves conducting and publishing research, participating in curriculum development, contributing to academic committees, and supporting departmental and institutional initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in Law, with the ability to teach foundational and advanced legal subjects.
- Specialized knowledge and teaching interest in Constitutional Law and related public law areas.
- Expertise in Criminal Law, with the ability to integrate contemporary legal developments and case studies into teaching.
- Demonstrated research skills, including the ability to design studies, analyze legal issues, and publish scholarly work.
- Proven teaching skills, including lesson planning, student engagement, and effective assessment practices.
- Postgraduate degree (LL.M) in Law from a recognized institution; a Ph.D. in Law or enrollment in a Ph.D. program is preferred.
- Familiarity with modern teaching tools, learning management systems, and basic educational technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to teach and interact with a diverse student body.
- Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and collaborative work within the department.
Note :- Punjabi Language and UGC NET is mandatory.
