About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and academically accomplished Assistant Professor of Law to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence, legal research, and academic service, while contributing to the intellectual and professional development of students.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lectures in assigned law subjects (e.g., Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, etc.)
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments in line with academic standards
- Conduct scholarly research and publish in reputable journals
- Mentor and guide students in academic and career development
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning
- Contribute to institutional activities such as seminars, workshops, and conferences
- Engage in administrative and committee responsibilities as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ph.D. Awarded as per regulatory norms from a recognized institution/University
- Master’s degree (LL.M.) in Law from a recognized institution
- Strong academic record with a demonstrated interest in research and publication
- Prior teaching experience (preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning processes
Preferred Skills
- Specialization in emerging areas of law (e.g., Cyber Law, Intellectual Property, International Law, etc.)
- Experience in moot court coaching or clinical legal education
- Research grants, publications, or conference presentations
