Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Professor in Information Technology/Computers for a full-time on-site position at Amity University, Ranchi. The role involves delivering high-quality lectures, designing and updating curriculum, conducting research in Information Technology/Computers, and mentoring students. Other responsibilities include guiding student projects, publishing in reputable journals, participating in academic activities, and contributing to the university's vision of academic and research excellence.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Information Technology/Computers and a strong foundation in programming, data structures, algorithms, and emerging technologies.
- Research expertise demonstrated through publications, conference presentations, or thesis work. Candidates with a completed or submitted PhD are preferred; those pursuing a PhD will also be considered.
- Strong teaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to deliver engaging and well-structured lectures and support student development.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with students, faculty, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to academic excellence, research innovation, and contributing positively to the university community.
- Familiarity with the use of modern technology and tools to facilitate effective learning.
