1. Teaching & Academic Delivery
  • Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in English (Literature, Language, Communication Skills, etc.)
  • Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assessments
  • Conduct lectures, seminars, workshops, and tutorials
  • Use innovative teaching methods (ICT tools, blended learning, etc.)
  • Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and presentations
2. Research & Publications
  • Engage in active research in relevant areas of English studies
  • Publish research papers in reputed journals (Scopus/UGC-CARE indexed preferred)
  • Present papers at national and international conferences
  • Apply for research grants and funded projects
3. Student Mentorship & Development
  • Mentor and guide students academically and professionally
  • Support students in projects, internships, and research work
  • Address student concerns and provide career guidance
4. Administrative & Institutional Duties
  • Participate in departmental and institutional committees
  • Assist in curriculum development and revision
  • Support accreditation processes (NAAC, NBA, etc.)
  • Contribute to organizing seminars, conferences, and cultural/literary events
5. Extension & Outreach Activities
  • Engage in community development programs
  • Organize literary clubs, debates, and language activities
  • Collaborate with industry and academic partners


  • Educational Qualification:
  • Master’s & PhD in English
  • Must have qualified NET (National Eligibility Test)
