Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Professor – English to join our academic team immediately. The candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, mentoring students, contributing to academic research, and supporting departmental activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate English courses (Literature, Language, Communication Skills, etc.)
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and assessments
- Evaluate assignments, conduct examinations, and provide constructive feedback
- Guide and mentor students in academic and research activities
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning
- Engage in research, publications, and academic conferences
- Contribute to departmental meetings, committees, and institutional events
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: MA in English (Mandatory)
- Ph.D. in English: Preferred / Completed or Pursuing
- Experience: 0–5 years of teaching experience at college/university level
- Strong subject knowledge in English Literature and Language
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Computer Skills:
- Must have working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excell, Google Sheets, Google Forms, WhatsApp web messaging
Desired Skills
- Strong classroom management abilities
- Research aptitude and publication record (preferred)
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in an academic environment
Compensation & Benefits
