Role Summary:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and academic excellence and possess the ability to inspire and mentor students in diverse areas of computer science and engineering. The role involves delivering high-quality instruction, contributing to curriculum development, and collaborating on departmental initiatives aimed at fostering innovation and industry-academia partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate/postgraduate courses in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Engineering
- Participate in academic administration and curriculum development.
- Design and deliver theory + hands-on lab sessions
- Guide students in mini-projects, CAPSTONE projects, and live projects.
- Use tools/frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hadoop/Spark
- Develop course material, lesson plans, and assessment tools
- Encourage industry-aligned learning and emerging AI trends
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized university (thesis-submitted candidates may also apply).
- First Class or equivalent at both Bachelor’s and Master’s levels in relevant disciplines such as:
– B.E./B.Tech. & M.E./M.Tech. in CSE/AI/ML/Data Science/IT or allied areas.
- A strong research profile demonstrated through publications in SCI or Scopus-indexed (non-paid) journals will be a significant plus.
- Foreign degrees, if any, must be recognized or equivalenced by the competent authority as per UGC / AIU guidelines.
- Relevant and adequate teaching experience as prescribed by UGC / AICTE norms.
Skills & Competencies:
- Well-versed in the use of case studies, simulations, experiential industry projects, and other innovative teaching–learning methodologies.
- Effective teaching, communication, and student engagement skills.
- Well-versed in using analytical tools relevant to the respective domain.
Emoluments:
Salary as per UGC / AICTE norms; however, salary shall not be a limiting factor for exceptionally deserving candidates.
