Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality IT curriculum, mentoring students, evaluating their progress, and staying updated on the latest trends in computer science. The role also involves planning and conducting interactive lectures, labs, and workshops to ensure effective knowledge delivery tailored toward preparing students for careers in the tech industry.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in core Computer Science disciplines and foundational principles
- Proficiency in Programming and related technologies
- Experience in Data Science and Cybersecurity is preferred
- Familiarity or experience with Curriculum Development tailored to technical education
- Proven passion for teaching and mentoring students
- Must have Ph.D or must have cleared NET/SET
- Master’s degree, or equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related field
- Willingness to teach Data Science
- Prior teaching experience and industry exposure will be an added advantage
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
