Role Description
CTPL is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor of Computer Science for an on-site position in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will design and deliver courses, develop and refine computer science curricula, and mentor students in areas such as programming, data science, and cybersecurity. Responsibilities include conducting lectures, engaging in research and development, advising students, and participating in departmental activities to foster academic excellence and innovation.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Computer Science fundamentals and related subjects
- Proficiency in Programming and ability to teach programming languages effectively
- Knowledge of Data Science and hands-on experience in data analysis or modeling
- Understanding of Cybersecurity principles and practices
- Experience in Curriculum Development and the ability to create engaging course content
- Strong research capabilities and a commitment to academic excellence
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; candidates with a Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant areas will also be considered
- Prior teaching experience in higher education is an advantage
