Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. The candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science, developing and delivering innovative curriculum content, guiding student research, and contributing to academic and institutional development. Additional responsibilities include conducting impactful research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and participating in departmental and university activities to foster a culture of learning and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Doctorate (PhD) or ongoing PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field
- Master's In Computer Science from any premier Institute/University.
- Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science and expertise in areas like Data Science and Cybersecurity
- Proficiency in Programming and the ability to guide students in hands-on projects
- Experience in Curriculum Development to design courses that align with academic and industry standards
- Demonstrated research capabilities, including prior publications in reputable journals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective teaching and mentoring
- Prior teaching experience in higher education is preferred but not mandatory
- Commitment to academic excellence and fostering a research-driven learning environment
