Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science, based at the Amity University campus in Ranchi. The role entails delivering engaging lectures, guiding and mentoring students, developing and updating curriculum to align with current academic and industry trends, and contributing to the university’s research initiatives. Additional responsibilities include assessing student performance, collaborating with colleagues on academic projects, and publishing scholarly work. Active participation in seminars, workshops, and departmental meetings is also expected.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field (Pursuing can also apply )
- Strong expertise in core Computer Science concepts, with the ability to teach and mentor students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Knowledge in advanced areas such as Data Science and Cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in Programming and hands-on experience with modern coding languages and frameworks.
- Experience or ability to contribute to Curriculum Development and align academic content with industry trends and research innovations.
- Proven research abilities with a track record of publishing in reputed journals and conferences.
- Strong communication, organizational, and mentoring skills to support student success and academic progression.
