This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor located in Pollachi. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for designing and delivering course materials, conducting lectures, and mentoring students. Additional responsibilities include supervising research projects, assessing academic performance, and contributing to curriculum development. Active participation in department activities and engagement in scholarly research and publications is also expected.
Qualifications
Strong instructional skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver engaging lessons and course materials
Expertise in agricultural research and a demonstrated ability to guide student projects
Proficiency in curriculum development and academic assessment methods
Commitment to academic excellence and the ability to mentor and advise students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work
Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Agriculture or a related field
Experience in a teaching or academic research role is preferred
Familiarity with educational technologies and tools is a plus
