About the Role
Amity University Punjab is inviting applications from passionate academicians and researchers for the position of Assistant Professor – Computer Science. The university seeks dynamic professionals committed to excellence in teaching, research, innovation, and student mentoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Computer Science.
- Develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessment strategies aligned with academic standards.
- Guide student projects, internships, dissertations, and research activities.
- Conduct quality research and publish in reputed journals/conferences.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
- Contribute to accreditation, academic administration, seminars, workshops, and institutional initiatives.
- Collaborate with industry and academic partners for research and innovation activities.
- Mentor students for placements, higher education, and entrepreneurship initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Computer Science / Information Technology / related discipline
- (Thesis Submitted candidates may also apply).
- Master’s degree in Computer Science / MCA / relevant specialization with strong academic background.
- UGC-NET qualification preferred.
- Prior teaching, research, or industry experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
