Job Title: Assistant ProfessorJob Summary:
The Faculty will lead academic and lab-based instruction in pathology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, and transfusion sciences. The role supports interdepartmental teaching across medical and paramedical disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
· Teach core laboratory subjects including pathology, hematology, immunology, biochemistry, and microbiology.
· Supervise student training in diagnostic labs and conduct hands-on sessions on laboratory instruments.
· Collaborate with medical and allied departments for interdisciplinary diagnostics teaching.
· Monitor student learning outcomes and provide structured academic feedback.
· Involve in the development of quality control protocols in student labs.
· Guide UG students in mini research projects, poster presentations, and lab audits.
· Participate in academic governance activities, curriculum mapping, and internal quality assurance.
Skills and Competencies:

Qualifications:
· Essential:
o M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology / Clinical Biochemistry / Microbiology / Pathology.
· Preferred:
o Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.
o Minimum 1–2 years of teaching or laboratory supervision in academic institutions
A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant /allied subject Medical Laboratory Science/Biomedical Science/ Biochemistry (Allied & Healthcare), Microbiology (Allied & Healthcare) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. * 50% entry level Assistant Professor positions to be reserved for candidates with Master of Medical Laboratory Sciencency-based education.
