Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located at the CT Group of Institutions' Jalandhar I campus for the position of Assistant Professor (MCA). The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, preparing and updating course materials, guiding and mentoring students, and evaluating academic performance. The role also includes conducting research, providing departmental support, participating in curriculum development, and contributing to the institution's academic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Computer Science and Programming languages, such as Java, Python, C++, or relevant technologies
- Strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Database Management Systems
- Knowledge in emerging areas like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, or Cybersecurity
- Experience in teaching, academic content development, and syllabus design
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to effectively engage and mentor students
- Research experience and a demonstrated ability to publish in reputed academic journals
- Ph.D. in Computer Applications, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred; a Master’s degree in MCA or equivalent is mandatory
- Commitment to using innovative pedagogical strategies and active participation in academic development programs
