Job Title Assistant Professor (Law) Location Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu Required Number 8 Qualification
- A Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.) from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale) in the LL.M. degree.
- National Eligibility Test (NET) or SET qualified or Ph.D. exemption for NET (if applicable) or A two years Masters Degree in Law (LL.M.) from a recognized university with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale) in the LL.M. degree as per Clause 22 of BCI Legal Education Rules.
Job description
- An Assistant Professor of Law, possessing a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to developing and delivering high-quality content for assigned courses.
- The required qualifications shall be as per UGC/ BCI guidelines.
- Further, the individual should demonstrate a readiness to assume responsibility and embrace challenging opportunities, leveraging their knowledge and skills to the fullest extent.

Responsibility
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars on assigned legal subjects, ensuring effective and engaging instruction.
- Develop, update, and implement course content and syllabi to reflect current legal trends and standards.
- Conduct scholarly research in various areas of law and contribute to academic publications.
- Provide mentorship and academic counseling to students, guiding them through their academic and career development.
- Supervise student projects, internships, and moot court activities, ensuring practical application of legal principles.
- Design and conduct student assessments, providing constructive feedback on their progress and performance.
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and contribute to the development of institutional policies and programs. Please note: All appointments will be strictly in accordance with BCI guidelines..
