**Job Title: Assistant Professor – Interior Designing**
**Location:** AAFT University, Math Kharora, Raipur, Chhattisgarh
**Job Type:** Full-Time
### About the Role
AAFT University invites applications for the position of **Assistant Professor – Interior Designing**. We are looking for a passionate academician with strong subject expertise and a creative approach to teaching, mentoring, and research in the field of Interior Designing.
### Key Responsibilities
* Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Interior Designing.
* Develop lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and assessments in accordance with the curriculum.
* Guide and mentor students in design projects, portfolios, and research work.
* Conduct studio sessions, workshops, juries, and pra…* demonstrations.
* Stay updated with current trends, materials, technologies, and industry practices in interior design.
* Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, accreditation activities, and departmental initiatives.
* Encourage innovation, research, publications, and industry collaborations.
* Perform academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the University.
### Eligibility
* Ph.d / Master's Degree in Interior Designing/ Architecture with a consistently good academic record.
* NET qualification is desirable where applicable.
* Candidates with relevant industry experience, research publications, or a Ph.D. will be given preference.
* Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
### Experience
* 1–5 years of teaching and/or professional industry experience in Interior Designing.
* Fresh candidates with exceptional academic credentials and design portfolios may also apply.
### Preferred Skills
* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other relevant design tools.
* Knowledge of space planning, furniture design, materials, lighting, building services, and sustainable design.
* Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical expertise.
