Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Assistant Professor in the field of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with a focus on Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI & ML) and Data Science. The role involves delivering high-quality lectures, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development and departmental activities. The selected faculty member will foster a collaborative and innovative learning environment on the YIT campus located in Moodubidri, Mangalore.
Qualifications
- Master's (M.Tech) or Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science.
- Expertise in programming languages and tools relevant to AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science, such as Python, R, TensorFlow, and other simulation tools.
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, software development, and data structures.
- Proven ability to produce quality research and publish in peer-reviewed journals related to AI, ML, and Data Science.
- Experience in designing and delivering curriculum content focused on emerging technologies and trends in AI, Data Science, and Engineering Education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively mentor and collaborate with students, faculty, and industry professionals.
- Commitment to ethical practices and fostering a positive and inclusive academic environment.
- Additional certifications in specialized AI & ML frameworks, Data Analytics, or related emerging technologies are advantageous.
