Role Description
Amity University is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the role of Assistant Professor in Computer Science/Information Technology. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality academic coursework, developing dynamic and innovative curricula, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to the academic and operational excellence of the department. Additional responsibilities include participating in departmental activities, collaborating on research initiatives, and staying updated with advancements in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology to continuously enhance the learning experience.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Computer Science, with strong foundational and conceptual knowledge
- Experience in Curriculum Development for undergraduate and postgraduate courses
- Proficiency in Data Science concepts and tools, including data analysis and machine learning
- In-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity principles and practices
- Strong skills in Programming languages and frameworks relevant to software development
- Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Information Technology (Phd Thesis submitted or completed)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research background with published work in reputed journals or conferences
- Ability to mentor and guide students in academic and research activities
- Prior teaching experience in higher education and familiarity with modern pedagogical methods
