Role Description
The Assistant Professor in the Computer Engineering (CE)/Information Technology (IT) Department will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to undergraduate students. Key responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, developing and updating course materials to align with the latest industry trends, and conducting innovative research. Additional duties involve mentoring students, guiding research projects, assessing academic performance, and contributing to departmental activities and institutional development. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mehsana.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Computer Engineering and/or Information Technology disciplines, with in-depth knowledge of software development, programming languages, and emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in teaching, curriculum development, and the use of modern pedagogical tools such as smart boards, e-learning platforms, and audiovisual aids.
- Experience in conducting research, publishing papers in peer-reviewed journals, and supervising student projects.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills to guide and inspire students and work effectively with faculty members.
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline; relevant teaching or industry experience is an advantage.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and contribution to institutional events like technical and cultural festivals, seminars, and conferences.
