Medhavi Skills University (MSU) is a government-notified private State Skills University established under a State Act in Sikkim in 2021, dedicated to advancing quality skill-integrated higher education and entrepreneurship. Role Overview:
The incumbent will be responsible for academic delivery, student mentoring, industry integration,research activities, and academic administration related to Hospital Administration and Healthcare Management programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver theory, practical, and skill-based sessions in Hospital Administration and Healthcare Management.
- Coordinate internships, industry visits, projects, and OJT/OJL activities.
- Mentor students and provide academic and career counselling.
- Prepare question papers, assessments, case studies, and evaluation reports.
- Participate in research, publications, consultancy, and curriculum development activities.
- Support accreditation, BOS activities, admissions, and institutional events.
- Facilitate industry collaborations and healthcare management training programs.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management / Hospital & Health Management / Public Health Administration or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
- Professional certifications in Healthcare Quality, NABH, Healthcare Operations, or Hospital Management.
- Training in healthcare quality systems, accreditation, and digital health management.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching and/or healthcare administration experience in a recognized hospital, healthcare organization, consultancy, or academic institution.
