Role Description
The Assistant Professor of French will engage in the development and delivery of French language and literature courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Responsibilities include preparing course materials, designing curriculum, conducting lectures, facilitating classroom discussions, and assessing student performance. The candidate will also contribute to academic research and participate in departmental activities such as workshops and student mentoring. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in French Teaching and Language Teaching, with the ability to tailor instruction to a diverse student body.
- Experience in Curriculum Development and the creation of innovative, student-centered teaching materials.
- Strong background in Teaching and the ability to conduct engaging and effective classroom sessions.
- Knowledge and expertise in French Literature to guide students in both theoretical and practical understanding.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to mentor students for academic and professional growth.
- Master's or Ph.D. in French Language, Linguistics, or a related field, with demonstrated academic and research excellence. OR B2 level is required
- Previous teaching experience at university level is highly advantageous.
