Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor role based in Dehradun. The position involves teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in one or more of the following domains: AIML, Full Stack Development (FSD), Business Analytics, Cyber Security, Game Design, Data Science, Digital Marketing, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and General Management. Responsibilities include designing and delivering lectures, tutorials, and labs; preparing course materials and assessments; mentoring and advising students; and maintaining high academic standards. The Assistant Professor will engage in curriculum development, collaborate with colleagues on academic initiatives, and contribute to the institution’s research, industry outreach, and placement support activities.
Qualifications
- Strong academic and practical expertise in one or more areas: AIML, Data Science, Business Analytics, Cyber Security, Game Design, Digital Marketing, RPA, Full Stack Development, or General Management.
- Demonstrated ability in teaching-related skills, including course planning, curriculum design, assessment development, and use of modern pedagogical tools.
- Research and scholarly skills, such as conducting applied or academic research, publishing in reputable journals or conferences, and participating in academic communities.
- Industry-oriented competencies, including familiarity with current technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to the chosen specialization, and experience with real-world projects or consulting.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support a diverse student body and collaborate effectively with faculty and staff.
- Master’s degree or higher (preferably PhD) in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, Data Science, Digital Marketing, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Prior teaching or training experience in higher education or professional programs is highly preferred.
- Commitment to continuous learning, ethical academic practices, and contributing to institution-building activities.
Candidates must have any one of the following qualifications:
- BCA + MCA or B.Tech + M.Tech in Computer Science
- M.Des in Animation
- B.Sc + M.Sc in Animation & Design
- MBA in a relevant specialization
