Job Description: Assistant Professor – Finance

Amity University Kolkata is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor – Finance. We are seeking academically driven and research-oriented professionals committed to excellence in teaching and scholarly contribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lectures in core Finance subjects (Corporate Finance, Financial Markets, Investment Analysis, etc.)
- Develop course curriculum, teaching materials, and assessment methods
- Mentor and guide students in academic and research activities
- Publish research papers in reputed journals (Scopus/ABDC/UGC Care)
- Participate in academic administration and institutional development
- Contribute to seminars, conferences, and workshops
Eligibility Criteria:
- Ph.D. in Finance (Mandatory) – Awarded or Thesis Submitted
- Strong academic background (UG & PG in relevant discipline)
- Prior teaching/research experience preferred
- Candidates with publications will be given preference
