Role Description This full-time, on-site role for Assistant Professor CS/IT/MCA is based at IEC College Of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida (Noida region). The Assistant Professor will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science, Information Technology, and MCA, including lectures, lab sessions, tutorials, and project guidance. Responsibilities include designing and updating curricula, preparing teaching materials, evaluating student performance, and maintaining academic records. The role involves mentoring students, supervising projects and internships, contributing to departmental research and publications, and participating in academic events, committees, and accreditation activities. The Assistant Professor is expected to stay current with emerging technologies, collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching quality, and support institutional initiatives and outreach.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong domain knowledge in Computer Science and Information Technology.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, solve complex problems, and support research activities.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Curriculum Development for CS/IT/MCA programs, including modern pedagogical practices.
- Candidates should possess foundational understanding of Cybersecurity concepts and emerging trends relevant to teaching and research.
- Postgraduate degree (M.Tech/M.E./MCA or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Ph.D. or enrollment in a Ph.D. program is preferred.
- Prior teaching or academic experience at the college/university level is desirable, along with familiarity with outcome-based education.
- Ability to use learning management systems, online teaching tools, and modern lab infrastructure effectively.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills, with a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education.
