Role Description
We are seeking a committed and dynamic Assistant Professor in Computer Science for a full-time role based on-site in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for designing and delivering course content, mentoring students, engaging in research activities, publishing scholarly articles, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in academic committees. Additional responsibilities include staying updated with advancements in the field of computer science and fostering a collaborative and innovative learning environment.
Qualifications
- A strong foundation in Computer Science, with expertise in core concepts and advanced topics.
- Proficiency in Data Science and Cybersecurity, with the ability to teach and conduct research in these areas.
- Programming skills and hands-on experience with relevant coding languages and platforms.
- Experience in Curriculum Development and designing innovative course materials at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and collaborative skills to support and inspire students.
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field (preferred), or significant industry experience with a master's degree in Computer Science.
- Prior teaching experience in higher education and a proven track record of research publications in relevant domains.
- Commitment to promoting high educational standards and contributing to the university's research and academic community.
