Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Amity University, Mohali. The Assistant Professor will deliver high-quality instruction in computer science and related areas such as data science, cybersecurity, and programming. Responsibilities include developing innovative curriculum, mentoring students, conducting and publishing research, contributing to departmental goals, and engaging in academic initiatives that advance the institution's mission.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals and expertise in areas such as Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Programming
- Experience in Curriculum Development to create engaging and cutting-edge academic programs
- Proven ability to conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Effective teaching skills and a passion for mentoring students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- Doctoral degree (PhD) in Computer Science or a related field is required; candidates with industry experience will be given preference
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, critical thinking, and research
