Job Summary
The Assistant Professor will contribute to academic excellence by delivering high-quality teaching, fostering curriculum innovation, strengthening industry collaborations, and enhancing student employability. The role demands active engagement in emerging business domains such as business analytics, entrepreneurship, and contemporary management practices.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
Prepare detailed lesson plans aligned with the approved course curriculum.
Develop high-quality teaching materials, presentations, case studies, and assessment tools. Upload course curriculum, session plans, study materials, and assignments on the Learning Management System (LMS).
Deliver lectures and conduct academic sessions as per the prescribed schedule.
Monitor student progress and maintain academic records as required.Conduct remedial classes and special support sessions for slow learners and low-achieving students.
Ensure timely evaluation of assignments, projects, and examinations.
Student Mentorship & Academic Support
Conduct structured mentoring sessions for assigned students (Odd and Even Semesters) on a fortnightly basis.
Provide academic guidance, career counseling, and behavioral support.
Maintain special focus on absenteeism, slow learners, and students facing academic or behavioral challenges.
Track and document student progress and mentoring outcomes.
Curriculum Development & Industry Interface
Contribute to curriculum enhancement and revision aligned with industry trends.
Facilitate industry interactions, guest lectures, workshops, and seminars.
Support initiatives to improve student employability and internship opportunities.Encourage research, innovation, and entrepreneurship among students.
