Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for an Assistant Professor in the fields of BAOTT, BEMT, BMLS, and BMRIT within Allied Health Sciences. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses, developing and delivering course materials, mentoring students, conducting academic research, and participating in departmental activities. The role also involves preparing lesson plans, evaluating student performance, and contributing to curriculum development to ensure high academic standards are maintained. Additionally, the candidate will participate in seminars, workshops, and other academic engagements to promote innovative teaching and learning approaches.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in teaching and curriculum development for BAOTT, BEMT, BMLS, and BMRIT programs
- Strong research skills with a focus on publishing academic papers and engaging in scholarly activities
- Effective communication, presentation, and mentoring skills to support student development
- Collaborative skills for participating in departmental initiatives and academic events
- Knowledge of contemporary trends in Allied Health Sciences and ongoing developments in the field
- Educational qualifications in Allied Health Sciences with a master's or doctoral degree (Ph.D. preferred)
- Prior teaching or professional experience in the healthcare or academic sector is highly desirable
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment
