Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor role based at Tuljaram Chaturchand College in Baramati. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for planning and delivering lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in their subject area, aligned with the college’s curriculum and academic standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing course materials, assessing student performance, providing academic guidance, and maintaining accurate records of grades and attendance. Qualifications

- Eligibility as per applicable regulatory bodies (such as UGC or equivalent), including clearance of required examinations (e.g., NET/SET), where applicable.
- Demonstrated teaching ability, including course planning, classroom management, and student assessment in a higher education setting.
- Strong research aptitude, including the ability to undertake independent and collaborative research, publish in academic journals, and participate in conferences.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engage a diverse student body.
- Commitment to student mentoring, academic advising, and inclusive teaching practices that support learners from varied backgrounds.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with educational technologies, learning management systems, and digital resources.
- Ability to work collaboratively within departmental and college committees, contribute to academic administration, and support co-curricular activities.
- Strong professional ethics, time management skills, and willingness to participate in institutional development and community outreach.
